Food Service Worker at Nomad YQT (Thunder Bay Airport)

Nomad is currently looking for a part-time Retail Food Service Worker to join our team! Come join us at the Thunder Bay Airport!

We are looking for someone available to primarily work early morning shifts (for example: 3:30am to 9am) on primarily weekends, however scheduling accommodations can be made. Roughly 10-20 hours per week with an opportunity for additional hours based on performance.

Compensation Overview :

  • $16-$17/hr. wage (about $19-$22/hr. with tip pool)
  • Tips/Tip Pool (Additional $3-$5/hr.)
  • Free On-Site Parking

  • Reimbursement for required qualifications

→ Work in an individual environment & able to work early morning shifts

→ Maintain exceptional customer service skills

→ Have strong interpersonal skills

→ Effectively ensure café is stocked and cleaned at all times

→ Communicate confidently and effectively with customers & staff

→ Have good product knowledge and awareness

→ Ability to maintain a clean working area and café

Job Prerequisites : → Valid Safe Food Handling Certificate (“In Good Hands”)

→ Valid Smart Serve Ontario (Required for shifts starting after 9am)

→ Experience with cash handling and P.O.S. systems an asset

→ Regular access to a vehicle or transportation required (Or any other mode of transportation outside hours of public transit hours)

→ Valid Transport Canada Restricted Area Identity Card (R.A.I.C.) (We will work to get you this, should you not have one)

Job Types : Part-time, Permanent Part-time hours: 10-20 per week

Salary : $16.00-$17.00 per hour
