Please note: Effective April 1, 2024, the salary range for this position is $80,041 to $115,335 per year.

As the Manager of VWAP, you will lead the Victim/ Witness Assistance Program through the provision of direct services to victims and witnesses of crime, participation on various community committees, training and public education activities, and to manage the activities of program staff.

We are currently seeking two managers to oversee the Victim Witness Assistance Program in the North Region :

  • 1 permanent position at 125 Brodie Street North, Thunder Bay.
  • 1 temporary 12-month contract with the possibility of extension at 220 Main St. S, Kenora.

Please note: The opportunity in Thunder Bay also services a satellite office in Geraldton. The opportunity in Kenora will service surrounding offices in Fort Frances and Dryden.

About us : The Victims and Vulnerable Persons Division (VVPD) with the Ministry of the Attorney General supports, protects, and advocates on behalf of victims of crime and vulnerable children and adults. The Ontario Victim Services (OVS) is committed to treating victims of crime with dignity and respect. OVS endeavors to provide victims with access to a network of coordinated, victim-centered support services. OVS achieves this through several services, including the Victim/Witness Assistance Program (VWAP).
