Customer Service Representative

Responsibilities :

  • Provide outstanding customer service by helping customers with their storage needs
  • Perform all aspects of the rental process; including following up and closing on inquiries and leads, facility tours, collecting payments, request for information, sales and promotions, cancellations, move-outs, presenting lease agreements and other documentation
  • Accurately manage cash and balance end of day activities
  • Perform routine inspections of rental units to ensure all units are clean, properly locked and customer-ready
  • Performing routine cleaning of office, washrooms, lunchroom, sales floor, units (vacuuming, sweeping, mopping and wiping down surfaces and equipment as required)
  • Promptly identifying any deficiencies that require maintenance in the facility and bring them to the Facility Manager’s attention
  • Troubleshooting of customer issues, with oversight from Management
  • Accounts Receivable and performing collection calls
  • Managing inventory of boxes and other merchandise, complete merchandise orders as required
  • Work alongside your team members to maximize sales, marketing, occupancy, delinquency management of the facility
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with tenants, with the goal of providing superior tenant relations interactions
  • Assisting to maintain and ensure a safe environment for customers and staff
  • Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures
  • Performs other duties as required

Qualifications :

  • Hold a minimum of Grade 12 education
  • Sales and customer service experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Outstanding phone disposition
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a small team
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize activities and strong attention to detail
  • Excellent troubleshooting, organizational and administrative skills
  • Possess an outgoing and friendly personality and project a professional experience
  • Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
  • Ability to handle cash
  • Ability to perform physical duties such as but not limited to vacuuming, sweeping, mopping and wiping down surfaces/equipment
  • Valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle
  • A clean criminal record check
