Davinci Gelato is looking for a Production Manager for the Gelato/Icecream production. We are a manufacturer/wholesaler of Gelato/Sorbetto for the hospitality industry.
This is a hands on position that requires some experience in Gelato/Icecream manufacturing, operating specialty equipment, team leading, general - and HACCP administration. Additional training will be provided.
The Production manager is responsible for all aspects of the Gelato production department that has it's own facility in St Albert.
Compensation will be based on experience and performance.
The tasks will include (but not limited to):
- creating production plans based on orders
- ordering of ingredients
- hands on production leading a team of 1 to 2 co-workers, using continuous
- or batchfreezers
- shipping/receiving including all HACCP paperwork
- complete plant management, HACCP management
- maintaining cleaning schedules and records
- constant improvement of product quality and production efficiency (lean manufacturing)
- report to general management
Salary : $45,000.00-$65,000.00 per year

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
