Retail Sales Associate (Part-time)

Responsibilities :

  • Greet customers and assist them in finding and purchasing antique items
  • Educate customers on the history and uniqueness of each item
  • Manage and maintain a clean and organized sales floor
  • Assist with inventory management and pricing
  • Buy antiques, jewellery, and many other interesting items for stock
  • Process sales transactions and handle cash and credit card payments
  • Maintain a positive and professional attitude when interacting with customers and team members
  • Assist with other duties as assigned by the store manager

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous retail sales or customer service experience preferred
  • Passion for antiques and knowledge of antique items and history
  • Openness to learning new skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Working Conditions: This is a part-time position that requires working on weekends, evenings, and holidays. The Sales Associate will work on the sales floor and may be required to lift and move heavy items.

Job Types : Part-time, Permanent Part-time hours: 15-20 per week

Salary : From $16.00 per hour
