The Opportunity : The Hospitality Aide role will be serving the community of Points West Living Stettler , in the town of Stettler, Alberta . The role is responsible for ensuring top resident care is priority, with a high level of focus in time management and hospitality.

1 Part Time ( 48 hours Bi-weekly)

1 Part Time (56 hours Bi-weekly)

  • Demonstrates strength in building partnerships with Residents, family members, employee care partners, volunteers, external care partners and the community at large to ensure the vibrancy of our community

  • Flexibility and willingness to prioritize and adjust routines
  • Excellent time and resource management skills
  • Excellent problem solving, conflict resolution skills and ability to deal effectively with crisis situations

  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality within the Community

  • Ongoing monitoring and continuous quality improvement
  • Understands the importance to conduct random ongoing audits to always ensure compliance
  • Understanding as well as participation in the Emergency Management Plan, Infection Control protocol, WHMIS, and Health & Safety Wellness Strategies
  • Taking initiative with accident and injury prevention and adherence to health and safety
  • Participates and facilitates ongoing educational programs

Foundational knowledge and experience to grow from :

  • Grade 12 Diploma or recognized equivalent (required)
  • Read, write, and speak fluently in English (required)
  • Food Safe Certificate (an asset)
  • Experience in hospitality, and/or food service, and/or recreation (an asset)
