As an organization, we provide support to the greater Squamish Nation Community through service. With 12 departments with individual areas of expertise, we ensure Community Members have access to necessary programs and services.

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY : Working as an integral part of the Ta7lnew̓ás Education, Employment and Training Department, this position reports directly to the Team Leader, Income Assistance. this position is the administrative service provider to a 10+/- person division (Income Assistant Programs). The position is a key “point-of-contact” between the divisions and Management, providing critical communication and scheduling links. This position is responsible for administrative flow/clerical tasks and acts as an assistant to the Team. This position performs reception duties, provides back-up support as required to other admin assistants, as well as requires a broad range of office admin skills to meet diverse clerical and administrative needs. This position schedules appointments, schedules facility bookings, and requests additional information from government agencies as required. This position works primarily according to established policies and procedures, and does have some responsibilities that require independent decision-making. The incumbent operates at a high level of membership/people interaction and must be able to respond with courtesy, tact and diplomacy.

Salary : $ 20 - $ 21.4 per hour, plus a comprehensive benefits program.
