We are looking for individuals who want to build a career with us, we offer entry level positions for labourers with the opportunity to advance to higher positions .
Career advancement opportunities include: Locators, Lead Hand, Equipment Operators (Heavy Equipment, Hydrovac, Picker etc), Driller.
An entry level position is responsible for helping the crew with general labour, which includes:
- site set up and clean up
- loading, unloading, and transportation of construction material
- locating and exposing buried lines
- digging trenches (by hand)
- painting and marking up an area
- laying cable
- assist crew members with various tasks
- Operate ancillary equipment (ditcher, skidsteer)
- Participate in daily hazard assessments, tailgate meetings, and company safety meetings
- Operate company vehicles and equipment in safe and professional manner
- direct operators of construction equipment with alignment, movement, and adjustment of machinery
- assist with jetting procedure
- other duties as assigned
Minimum requirements
- Standard First Aid
- Ground Disturbance Level II
- CSTS
- Class 5 License (NON GDL)
- Able to travel - out of town work
