Marketing and Social Media Coordinator

Responsibilities :

  • Keeping up to date with all the latest social media trends and adapt to social media strategy to boost social media traffic
  • Developing, and executing digital campaigns from conception to launch on social media platforms such as Instagram and Facebook
  • Give direction and create concise, eye-catching, and creative social media posts that engages audience
  • Develop campaign reports, analyze the results, and refine the social media strategy to increase brand awareness, engagement levels and drive sales.
  • Brand ambassador: gaining followers and growing the company’s social media presence on social media platforms.
  • Consistently brainstorm new ideas and strategies to generates new leads, followers and increases our brand engagement.
  • Maintain and ensure consistency in brand voice while adapting to different social media platforms.
  • Analyze engagement data. Set key performance indicators (KPIs) such as a target number of community views, likes or shares for social media campaigns.
  • Provide insights and counsel to social, creative, marketing team on insight driven content strategies for building brand awareness, create creative work that will work across all channels and best practices in content strategy, (video, social), community management and social engagement
  • Travel to events, offices to record/post real time stories and content
  • Manage 4+ social business accounts
  • Design and creat grids with appropriate posts and hashtags

Skills and Qualifications :

  • 2+ years’ experience in a related role and preferably with a specialization in the following: social media, marketing, or communications
  • Strong communications skills with the ability to proactively engage with businesses to capture social media content
  • Proven track record of managing social media accounts across multiple platforms
  • Strong knowledge of social media platforms and best practices
  • Photography, videography and editing skills required
  • Graphic design experience with Canva or Adobe Suite.
  • Experience with Adobe Suite is a plus (Premier Pro, Lightroom, Photoshop)
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Schedule : Monday to Friday

Weekend availability

20 hours a week ( part-time)

Experience : Marketing: 1+ years (preferred)

Social media management: 2+ years (preferred)

$20-25hr

**Work remote with occasional travel to events in the GTA and/or businesses to shoot social content. Valid drivers license is a must.
