Our commitment to ongoing training provides each team member the opportunity for professional development while keeping pace with current best practices.What’s In It For You:-       The ability to make an impact and shape your career in a company that is passionate about growth-       The support of an organization that believes it is vital to include and engage diverse people, perspectives, and ideas to achieve our best-       Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits packageWhat You Will Do:-       Labor Relations: Act as a subject matter expert on all aspects of unionization and collective bargaining.-       Consultation: Guide, support, and advise Managers on all aspects of the People & Culture lifecycle/functions.-       Compensation: Assist in the administration of position descriptions and pay structures.-       Employee Relations: Mediate conflicts, conduct workplace investigations, assist with the performance management process, and provide employee support.-       EDI: Supporting and contributing to the company’s Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion strategy and implementation.-       Performance Assessment: Involvement in the performance assessment process (competency & goal-based evaluation) and talent development; provide feedback and/or direction regarding performance management issues (e.g., performance improvement plans), and ensure consistent application and alignment between the compensation policy and performance management process.-       Training and Development: Identify training needs and coordinate and/or deliver programs to support employee growth and professional development.-       Policy Development & Maintenance: Develop, monitor, and maintain People & Culture policies consistently.-       Compliance: Ensure People & Culture policies, practices and programs are compliant with employment related legislation.-       People & Culture Strategy and Planning: Contribute to People & Culture strategies aligned with organizational goals and analyze metrics.-       Employee Engagement and Culture: Develop initiatives to enhance engagement and foster a positive workplace culture.-       HRIS and Reporting: Assist with the Management and maintenance of the HRIS system; generate and utilize system reports to support P&C and operational needs.-       Other related duties as assigned.What You Bring:-       Post Secondary education in Human Resources Management and at least 5+ years experience in HR.-       Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work across boundaries, managing multiple stakeholders.-       Proven experience in Labor Relations and union negotiations-       Proven experience conducting full cycle workplace investigations.-       Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and HRIS (e.g., Dayforce, Peoplesoft, SAP).-       Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, including the ability to present to groups.-       Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.-       Excellent coaching and facilitation skills-       Understanding of strategic issues impacting the business with strong talent development and team building skills.-       Ability to identify opportunities for improvement, develop strategies and implement solutions-       Experience handling sensitive information with confidentiality and integrity. At Delmanor our team members are dedicated to delivering the Delmanor Experience to our residents and their guests.
