Your Opportunity : The primary responsibilities of this position include:

  • Prepare and serve hot food, snacks, ice cream, and drinks to visitors, following food handling and safety procedures
  • Process payments following established cash handling procedures
  • Ensure proper operation and cleaning of all equipment
  • Maintain a clean and organized food service area, including stock rooms
  • Greet visitors and and respond to requests in a friendly, efficient manner
  • Sell merchandise and related items
  • Work in accordance with the Conservation Halton’s Safety Policies & Procedures and the Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulations and all other related manuals.
  • Other duties as assigned

Your Qualifications :

  • Previous experience/training in the food industry is preferred
  • Previous point of sale experience is an asset
  • Interest in hospitality, restaurant, resort management is an asset
  • Ability to travel to a site not serviced by public transportation
  • Able to lift up to 40 pounds, stand, and walk for long periods of time
  • Food Handler Certificate and Smart Serve Certificate is an asset
