Brake Press Operator
Type :Full-time - contract to permanent hire
Shift : 7:00am to 3:30pm or 3pm to 11:30pm - Monday to Friday
Location: Milton, ON
Primary Function : The Machine Operator's primary function is to set up and operate fabrication equipment used in the Feeder department for the production of standard and custom parts to support the both internal and external customers.
Essential Functions : (a) Perform safety check for machine and supporting equipment and advise supervisor of concerns. (b) Perform and complete of autonomous maintenance and safety check sheets. (c) Operate Machine(s) based on on-the-job training, standardized operating procedures, detailed work instructions and manufacturer"s requirements. (d) Adhere to detailed specifications, work instructions, manufacturing information and written or verbal instructions from supervision. (e) Run and operate Dynamic Machine Management software (DMM), including using DMM hold codes to report program issue or any other issues. (f) Run and operate software for drawing search (Enovia, Swift ), drawing view, and printing. (g) Work from drawings, sketches, manufacturing information, to determine dimensions as well as from written or verbal instruction from supervision.
Qualifications
(a) Grade 12 Diploma and/or 2-4 years of Fabrication or Technical Experience. (b) Understanding of Windows operating systems, additional computer hardware & software skills. (c) Ability to read and understand basic drawings and layouts.
Salary : From $25.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
