Raj Grocers Inc is looking for an Operations Supervisor who will work with and report directly to management. You will be responsible for helping direct, plan, coordinate daily operations and execute management plans.
Raj Grocers Inc is a wholesale distributor of brand name food, cleaning, toiletries and pharmaceutical products and has been family-owned and operated for over 35 years.
Responsibilities :
- help management achieve operational goals
- supervise staff in different departments and foster productivity and growth
- communicate regularly with customers, sales team, warehouse, drivers and management staff
- ensure proper documentations are provided for shipping
- inventory control and necessary data entry/updates
- involvement with purchasing
- assist accounts department with various accounting/bookkeeping duties
- promotional activity
- assist with opening/closing procedures
Required Work Experience :
- at least 3 years of operations experience, preferably in the food industry
Skills :
- ability to work well under time constraints
- responsible and organized
- punctuality and attendance to lead by example
- familiarity with basic business and financial principles
- ability to communicate with all levels of the organization, especially with management
- must have some accounting background in order to support accounts departments
Salary : $21.00-$25.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
Experience :
