Reporting to the Manager Quality Assurance, in this role, you will :

  • Perform product inspections and releases based on customer requirements.
  • Perform checks on labelling and packaging activities to ensure all work is performed in full compliance with GMP, SOPs and Client requirements.
  • Actively participate in Internal Quality Audits, Client Audits, and 3rd Party Audits
  • Maintain the premises requirements to GMP standards including reviewing pest control program, sanitation program, and other building requirements to ensure compliance.
  • Create, update, and maintain procedures and any other documentation for assigned Quality Systems processes.
  • Establish and maintain, trend, and report data/metrics for assigned Quality Systems processes.
  • Conduct Gap analysis of new regulations and Client requirements
  • Conduct GMP & Quality related trainings and maintain training records on site.
  • Manage Mock Recalls for Healthcare sites.
  • Support Client requests for compliance information required for their site Establishment Licenses, and or Audit requirements.
  • Works closely with personnel from functional groups, including, but not limited to Operations, IT to provide guidance in managing quality activities related to their functional areas.
  • Develop and manage Quality KPIs/dashboards.
  • Other miscellaneous tasks as assigned.

We are looking for a team member that has :

  • University/College education in sciences or related field
  • Diploma from a Quality Assurance/Regulatory Affairs program would be an asset.
  • 2-4 years of experience in Quality Assurance field
  • Knowledge of GMP requirements and guidelines for Drug Products, Natural Health Products, Medical Devices, Food Products and Cosmetics.
  • Must have strong teamwork and organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to interact with peers, subordinate and senior personnel in multidisciplinary environment including engineering, facility operations, IT.
  • Must be able to work under pressure to meet deadlines and changing priorities.
  • Able to prioritize and decide appropriate course of actions.
  • Lifting products of 50lbs+
