The role of the Litigation Administrator will work specifically within the Intellectual Property team and help organize workflow between lawyers and paralegals. We are looking for someone who can organize litigation files, maintain due case reports, and ensure tight deadlines are met. The IP Litigation Administrator will liaise with clients, draft court documents for Affidavits, Motions, and Bills of Cost, etc and maintain copies of transcriptions within the database, Relativity. We are looking for someone who can stay a step ahead of the lawyers by organizing case files, setting up courtrooms, coordinating witnesses, and electronic access for trial. You will help prepare charts, chronological summaries, and documentary evidence and may need to attend trials as needed to support the lawyers.The Ideal Candidate will bring a blend of experience and education to the team. Holding a Law Clerk diploma and approximately 5 years of experience working within an IP or litigation team, we want to hear from you. Knowledge of legal policies and procedures within an IP function will be expected. Experience with Federal and Provincial courts is required, and exceptional communication and organizational skills are needed. You will be part of a larger administrative team, but your ability to work independently while collaborating with others is essential to your success. Proficiency with the MS Office Suite and proven experience with the Relativity database is highly desirable. We are looking for a high achiever, who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
