Job Summary

Working in a small but mighty team, the Social Media Coordinator is a dynamic role offering hands on experience in all aspects related to social media management and coordination. This position will report to the company owner but will be mentored and trained by a seasoned Brand Strategist and Marketing Expert making this role a unique opportunity for exponential growth.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Works closely with Brand Strategist to conceptualize and execute marketing plan
  • Along with Operations Manager, plans and coordinates content shoot logistics including shot list, timeline, props, outfits, etc., and manages shoot days accordingly
  • Maintains content calendar schedule with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Writes content captions and optimizes as needed
  • Shoots video footage to be used for reels, TikTok and beyond
  • Monitors social media, engages with community and responds to messages /comments in brand voice and timely manner
  • Assists in creating content including video and stories in alignment with the brand
  • Edits video footage, with guidance and mentoring as needed
  • Designs, through collaboration, various graphics in Canva
  • Attends events to capture, create and post content
  • Stays updated and educated on best practices, trends and new information
  • Completes deliverables on time and with accuracy
  • On occasion, assists with events and other business activities

  • Are reliable and excited about working hard while having fun
  • Have an eye for style and aesthetics

  • Are a team player and don’t operate with a “that’s not my job” attitude
  • Can, on occasion, work evenings and weekends
  • Have your own transportation and valid driver’s license

Working Conditions and Hours : Working approximately 20 hours per week, this exciting position offers a flexible hybrid work schedule with a beautiful balance of work-from-home and at our office in St. Albert.

Pay: $16.00-$20.00 per hour
