Our expectations : Reporting to the Director, Asset Protection - Process and Strategy, the Regional Manager, Supply Chain Asset Protection is responsible to promote, support, and lead an Asset Protection culture that focuses on commitment vs. compliance.

Leveraging data and analytics to drive strategies and decision-making, the Regional Manager, Supply Chain Asset Protection ensures that Lowe’s Canada is proactively addressing opportunities identified with a process or policy contributing to inventory losses and risk (physical security) within the supply chain and distribution network.

This requires a customer service mindset along with close coordination with direct reports and leaders within many other departments and/or business units.

Your role :

  • Actively promote, support, and lead the establishment of strong asset protection and physical security processes across all Lowe’s Canada distribution facilities by influencing and collaborating with direct reports and applicable management teams/business units
  • Develop and leverage data and analytics to drive prevention strategies, cost savings, and decision-making
  • Identify and investigate shrink related issues within the distribution environment, as well as its subsequent impact to stores (i.e. short shipments, damages, etc.)
  • Partner with distribution leadership teams, store DAPSMs (District Safety and Asset Protection Managers) to address/resolve identified shrink issues
  • Partner with the AP&S Investigations team to identify and investigate instances of loss associated with theft or dishonesty (internal employees or vendors)
  • Ensure regular compliance reviews and inspections are conducted, and that any items identified as a non-conformity are corrected in partnership with the facility
  • Collaborate with contract security vendors to develop and implement clear, consistent security guard post orders (guarding expectations and duties)
  • Support day-to-day contract security guarding activities, including access controls, gatehouse/yard management, facilities patrols
  • Partner with AP&S Process and Strategy team on budget development and management (security guarding) and service and maintenance needs (security equipment)
  • Assist with the development and implantation of emergency management and response protocols within the distribution environment
  • Conduct annual tests of emergency management and response protocols

The qualifications we are looking for :

  • Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent in Policing, Security/Asset Protection, Supply Chain/Distribution Management, or equivalent/relevant studies
  • At least 3 to 5 years’ experience in a leadership position involving distribution (preferable within retail environment)
  • Proven communication skills, both oral and written
  • Confidence speaking in front of a group
  • Ability to demonstrate leadership, resourcefulness, and initiative
