Parts Assistant

This full-time role supports our marine service dept. operating in Sidney and North Saanich, as well as parts supply for our satellite location in Powell River, BC.

The responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Assist the Service Manager with daily administrative duties
  • Maintenance software data entry
  • Assist with entering and managing inventory levels
  • Enter technician repair order data into maintenance software
  • Assist and ensure all technician work orders are processed and closed in a timely manner
  • Process invoices for AP
  • Contact vendors for invoices
  • Enter vendor and sublet invoices into maintenance software
  • Organizing and filing work orders, invoices, etc
  • Other duties as required

Position Requirements:

  • Previous administrative experience
  • Previous parts experience and mechanical knowledge an asset
  • Experience with Salesforce or other CRM software an asset
  • Proficient in written and verbal English
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Organized
  • Detail oriented
  • Ability to multitask

Job Types : Full-time, Permanent

Salary : $20.00-$23.00 per hour
