Sales and Design Consultant

Reporting to the Director of Sales, we are looking to add a proven sales professional to our leading team in the role of Sales and Design Consultant, based in our Head Office in Bracebridge, Ontario. Sales & Design Consultant

Key Responsibilities :

  • Assists clients through the designing, purchasing, manufacturing, and delivery of their new dream log & timber home
  • Works closely with all departments, as necessary, to clearly communicate a customer’s vision and requirements for their log home; collaborating especially closely with our internationally award-winning design team
  • Maintains accurate records and customer data in our Company CRM system
  • Prepares annual budgets that include revenue targets potential
  • Provides regular updates/forecasts for sales on a quarterly basis
  • Formulates short and long-term customer plans to achieve sales objectives by ensuring the sales funnel is adequate throughout
  • Meets customer ‘walk-ins’ to our Head Office - answering their questions and engaging them in the sales process
  • Schedules, logs, and confirms appointments with customers and achieves daily/weekly/monthly goals as assigned by the TNLH “Customer First Initiative”
  • Ensures the highest level of care and support for customers throughout and after completion of their project - handles any queries/complaints in a timely and professional manner and escalates to Management when required
  • Travels throughout North America to exhibit at industry specific trade shows to demonstrate our patented industry leading log home system

Qualifications :

  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in Marketing, Architecture, Construction, Real Estate, or a related field
  • Proven sales experience in a similar role - preferably in the Construction industry
  • Must have a Valid G Class Drivers License and Passport
  • Technical knowledge required to understand the market and products, however full training will be provided
  • Must be able to demonstrate effective sales techniques and a ‘hunter’ sales mindset: with proven success in a sales environment with both warm and cold leads
  • Self-motivated and willing to tackle challenges head on with a positive attitude
  • Must be an exceptional ambassador for the True North Log Homes brand while speaking at trade shows and other events
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills with the ability to multitask
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite - Word, Excel, Powerpoint etc. and experience with CRM systems
  • Must be willing to travel to trade shows throughout North America
