Position Purpose
The Resort Maintenance Worker will be responsible for general maintenance as well as numerous minor maintenance activities throughout Touchstone Resort.
The position is responsible for managing and replacement and repairs of hotel equipment and in particular - issues that may arise in guest rooms and public areas.
Essential Functions
The maintenance worker will also be required to perform annual, quarterly, and monthly preventative maintenance activities.
- Respond to all guests requests in an effective and prompt manner.
- You will be responsible for keeping the hotel maintained. This could include repairing holes in walls, changing settings on cooling and heating equipment, replacing light bulbs, repainting walls, fixing broken furniture, fixing minor electrical issues, fixing leaking faucets, etc.
- Shovelling and salting pathways during winter season
- Keep all mechanical areas in a neat and orderly condition.
- Monitoring hot tubs and seasonal outdoor pools
- Carry out consistent preventive maintenance programs on rooms and regularly update records
- Work together with other members of the Maintenance team as well as the Front Office team and connect to discuss any aspect of operations which will involve the maintenance department.
Qualification Standards
Maintenance experience an asset.
