Receptionist - Ottawa

Our client in the financial field is currently looking to add a receptionist for their payments department for their ever growing company. If you have a background in finance or a knowledge of administrative work then this is the position for you. This person will have various administrative tasks that will be part of there day to day operations. Advantages Monday - Friday 8:30AM-5PM Salary $40,000-$45,000 Benefits Medical 2 weeks vacation Work for a leader in the industry Responsibilities Main responsibilities - Welcoming visitors - Receiving and routing of calls - Mail management and mailings including registered mail - Virtual filing of invoices - Contact person with certain office suppliers (maintenance, shredding, etc.) - Management of the conference room agenda - Maintain the conference rooms and be responsible for the disinfection of equipment and common areas - Other administrative and secretarial tasks to assist the assistants Qualifications Team player, good communication skills, and willing to learn Strong attention to detail Fluently bilingual English/French spoken and written Has a working knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices and procedures within the financial industry Good written and verbal communication skills Strong customer service skills Experience working with Microsoft programs (Word, Excel, Outlook) Ability to work with minimal supervision.
