Your work will play a crucial role in the sustainable management of Alberta’s natural resources, ensuring wildlife thrives for generations to come. Key Responsibilities: Lead and conduct wildlife population assessments and habitat studies. Develop and implement conservation plans and policies. Collaborate with government agencies, stakeholders, and the public to promote wildlife conservation. Engage and consult with First Nations and Metis communities. Provide expert guidance on wildlife management issues. Analyze data and prepare comprehensive reports on wildlife status, assessment and population trends. Mentor and guide junior biologists and technicians.
