Retail Clerk

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE**: As part of the retail team you will ensure that each and every person visiting the brewery is treated with the same small-town hospitality that Creemore is famous for. You will provide friendly and knowledgeable service in a very welcoming environment.

• Flexible Schedule required as weekend work will be needed

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Representing the brewery and its products in an energetic and professional manner
• Assisting with Sales and Tours in the On
• Site Retail store
• Stocking merchandise shelves and beer fridge several times daily
• Providing knowledgeable and friendly service to all customers
• Answering phones and performing basic administrative duties
• Handling cash/POS system and maintaining till float
• Provide Beer Sampling and assist in the education of guests

QUALIFICATIONS :

• Smart Serve Certificate Required
• Must possess excellent Public Relations skills and be of a friendly and co-operative nature.
• Must be professional, energetic and dependable.
• Flexible Schedule required (weekends are mandatory)
• An ability to speak in front of large groups is an asset
• Must be physically able to participate in some heavy lifting and manual labour
• Sales, Event and / or Marketing background an asset
