This position operates under the supervision of the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager. As a Supervisor you are primarily responsible for providing top-notch customer service, team supervision and training, ordering, stocking, merchandising, and maintaining the upkeep of the sales floor according to store procedures. Additionally, as a Supervisor, you are responsible for opening and closing the store as a keyholder.

Other Responsibilities

  • Support the Store Management team to :_
  • Place orders, stock, rotate, merchandise, and face product according to department procedures
  • Receive product deliveries ensuring order and invoice accuracy
  • Supervise department staff and provide regular feedback
  • Hiring and training new department staff
  • Handling customer inquiries or complaints in a professional manner
  • Maintaining consistency in providing excellent customer service
  • Processing transactions in a timely and efficient manner
  • interact, cash, and credit card
  • Cash handling and reconciliation
  • Complete and supervisor end of shift cash-out procedures
  • Maintain a clean, organized and work environment
  • Adhere to Health and Safety policies, including exposure control notices if required to cleanup biohazard waste (training provided)
  • Examine merchandise to identify items to be reordered or replenished
  • Create displays
  • Perform weekly shifts as a key holder; opening and closing the store
  • Liaise and communicate effectively with corporate, management, and store-level personnel
  • Maintain a positive work environment
  • Adhere to company loss prevention standards
  • Work closely with the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager
  • Cover additional shifts as necessary in order to meet the operational needs of the store
  • Perform other duties as assigned to meet business needs

Qualifications/Requirements : If you think you are the right person for this position you will...

  • Have previous Produce or grocery store experience
  • Previous experience in a leadership role
  • Have the ability and willingness to work varied shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays as necessary
  • Have a passion for providing excellent customer service
  • Have an interest in all natural, organic, local and healthy ingredients and foods
  • Have the ability to stand, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Bondable/clear criminal record check

Job Types : Full-time, Permanent

Salary : $18.00-$20.00 per hour
