We AIM for excellence.Job DescriptionReporting into the Vice-President of Human Resources, the Director, Learning and Development will play a key role in the development of AIM’s organizational global training and development strategies and the implementation of programs, tools, and resources. This position will also be responsible for aligning learning and development initiatives to help integrate new employees, ensure high skill standards, and retain employees.What you're responsible for:Collaborating with senior management to identify the organization's training needs through the organization's direction and vision.Designing and developing a Training & Development organizational structure to ensure strategy operationalization and business partnership with all stakeholders (Employees, Operations, Managers, HR, Senior Management).Developing onboarding and integration programs for new employees and target groups.Overseeing the design, development, and delivery of training programs, both face-to-face and online.Ensuring the delivery and management of the skills development program for managers and the design-coordination of all other Management/Leadership curriculum.Collaborating with HR partners to fill skills gaps and support employees' career development plan.Ensuring representation and functional coordination of the development of an LMS module through the HRIS.Preparing and managing the annual training and development budget.Developing, tracking and establishing KPI’s related to the effectiveness and adoption of training and development initiatives.QualificationsTo Join our team: You have a university degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or related field.You have a minimum of 8-10 years' experience in Human Resources, including at least 5 years in a similar or close leadership role, focused on training and development.You have familiarity with e-learning platforms, learning management systems (LMS) and technology-based training tools.You have strong analytical and project management skills.You have a strategic and pragmatic approach to translate HR strategies into concrete training and development programs.You have a detail-, fact- and results-oriented approach.You have an innovative and creative mindset, keeping up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies.
