Warehouse Worker/forklift Operator

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE :

• Forklift operation will be the main duties of this role along with picking orders. Opportunities for co-driving will exist, as will progression into a G Class Driver role with the company.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Loading, unloading of trucks; parking trucks in and out of docks
• Moving and maneuvering of product around the warehouse that can exceed 100 lbs.
• Picking orders using electric pallet jacks and accurate building of load.
• Assisting in balancing of inventory
• Planning, organizing, loading, and unloading of trucks
• Receiving product from suppliers
• Accurately complete all paperwork as required
• General DC maintenance including cleaning, sweeping, organizing warehouse
• Abiding by all Health and Safety Regulations as laid out by Creemore Springs Brewery
• Adhere to all duties required for traceability and BRC compliance
• Other relevant duties as required by the Warehouse Supervisor

QUALIFICATIONS :

• Must be 19 years of age or older
• Must be professional, energetic, and very dependable
• Must be comfortable moving heavy objects, minimum of 100 lbs., and able to perform consistently physical work
• Proven ability to work independently with strong attention to detail
• Warehouse background with exposure to WHIMIS and MSDS an asset
• Forklift certification and experience as asset
• DZ license an asset

• Shifts are Monday to Friday 9:00am-5:30pm (End of shift may be later depending on volume shipping).

Salary : $17.50-$20.00 per hour
