The IT Solutions Orientation and Design Department of the property and casualty sector, which is responsible for the application architecture of IT solutions (software and solutions), is currently looking for an experienced senior IT architect who has already managed a business integration project or program and who knows how to work in a dynamic environment. You'll be asked to keep up with new trends and developments as well as expand your knowledge of the organization and related techniques and tools. As Senior IT Architect, you will play an important role in the positioning of various strategic, highly complex initiatives with major impacts on commercial lines insurance. These initiatives include (but are not limited to) integration of a brokerage network, referencing, software package integration, modernization of the commercial insurance application ecosystem, etc., in which you'll support, advise and influence project managers and teams in developing strategies and defining application architecture. You'll help define the target architecture for this sector. You'll integrate the work of solution architects to achieve an overall vision of the sector's IT assets, while taking into account the directions already defined, including in business architecture. In short, you'll see to the overall consistency across the sector's IT assets as well as their smooth integration into the property and casualty ecosystem and in Desjardins Group as a whole.
