Position : Sales Associate
Hours : Full-Time (40 hours per week), weekends required
Compensation : $18.00-$21.00 (per hour) depending on experience plus bonuses

About the position : The Sales Asscociate is responsible for helping with the day-to-day operations of the CTS Richmond retail location. The Sales Associate provides a memorable and exciting shopping experience for customers of all ages, and services a large customer base seeking regular skate sharpening and hockey equipment.
Qualifications & Requirements : Education & Experience:
- Hockey background required (player, coach, fan)
- At minimum, completion of secondary school
- Or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Skills :
- Knowledge and passion for ice hockey and/or lacrosse is an asset
- Experience and/or knowledge with skate sharpening is an asset
- Familiarity with point-of-sale system operations
- Ability to problem solve
- Excellent customer service
- Organized
Responsibilities :
- Provides excellent customer service in person and over the phone, including identifying appropriate customer needs
- Assist in skate sharpening for a large customer base
- Assists customers in Hockey equipment fitting
- Stocking and merchandising of inventory
- Shipping and Receiving
- Cash Handling
- Supports with team sales initiatives
- Other duties as required
