This Volunteer Placement is Located in: Kingston, JamaicaStart Date: July 2024Placement Length: 6 months with the possibility of extensionLanguage Requirements: English Level 5-FluentEligibility: Open to Canadian Citizens and Permanent Residents of Canada onlyThe Volunteer’s RoleThe overall purpose of this placement is to provide technical support to Junior Achievement Jamaica in developing and implementing monitoring and evaluation systems to strengthen and measure its capacity and optimize its services and offerings to youth across Jamaica.As a volunteer, you will support Junior Achievement in building its capacity to become a robust, sustainable NGO through enhanced monitoring and evaluation systems which will in turn increase its impact on the community and the young people they serve.As a volunteer, you will: Conduct a needs assessment of current M&E systems in place for programming Lead in developing M&E documents for tracking program impact and beneficiaries Training of staff in the use of M&E tools Essential Requirements:Bachelor’s Degree in Program Management, Monitoring & Evaluation, International Development or a related fieldEssential Background: Experience in implementing, monitoring, and evaluating projects.
