We are looking for a hardworking, positive Supply Chain Manager to join our growing Toronto team who can handle working in a fast-paced environment and complete their work with an emphasis on accuracy and attention to detail.

Your primary responsibilities will include all aspects of the Hexatronic Canada supply chain, from purchasing to final delivery to the customer. Develop, monitor, and execute a Hexatronic Canada supply chain strategy.

Other tasks include communication with various internal Hexatronic teams as well as external suppliers and customers, following up on logistics-related inquiries, and data entry.

This is a full-time position that includes comprehensive training.

Core Responsibilities

  • Develop, monitor, and execute a Hexatronic Canada supply chain strategy, ensuring targets are met
  • Develop new and existing relationships with suppliers and customers. Negotiate contracts with suppliers and logistic partners
  • Work on forecasts and inventories, keeping an accurate record of the process, inventory and analyze the performance
  • Improve the overall supply chain performance and look for any possible innovations to the process
  • Manage and optimize the costs involved while maintaining quality
  • Implementing Hexatronic sustainability principles in to supply chain
  • Consider the environmental impact of the supply chain in order to meet sustainability targets
  • Ensure you're aware of precisely what is happening throughout the supply chain
  • Implement and use IT solutions to support an efficient supply chain
  • Manage and minimize the risks (for example, operational or reputational) that could affect or interrupt the supply chain
  • Control delivery processes. Managing and planning for logistics or transportation issues
  • Oversee product storage, handling and distribution
  • Keeping track of the number of goods as well as stock levels, delivery times and transportation costs
  • Maintaining reports and records of inventory
  • Managing and coordinating with the transportation team and partners
  • Manage and motivate a team of supply chain staff
  • Tracking the status of goods in real-time to ensure contracts are being fulfilled
  • Order management process. Manages customer orders and resolves any issues that arise in the process.
  • Sending PO acknowledgements
  • Responding to internal and external stakeholders regarding order status and other inquiries
  • Attending conference calls and meetings with customers
  • 1st point of contact for any discrepancies

Qualifications :

  • 1-3 years of relevant experience
  • Previous experience in order management is an asset
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to change
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to complete work with accuracy, mínimal errors and in a timely manner

  • Ability to prioritize and demonstrate initiative

  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office suite (Excel proficient)

Salary : From $65,000.00 per year
