Job Description - Customer Service Representative

Reports to : Onsite Management Team

Position Summary

Devon Transport prides ourselves in provide efficient and friendly service to all of our customers for their car rental needs. The staff at this location are responsible for processing rental transactions, providing value-based recommendations of our products and services, basic administrative tasks, and communicating effectively all while upholding high standards of service.

Position Responsibilities

  • Answering customer inquiries
  • Quoting Rates effectively
  • Opening Rental Agreements
  • Closing Rental Agreements
  • Communicating with location staff, support departments, and other city locations.
  • Ensuring customer satisfaction and solving customer service disruptions as needed
  • Following service based sales recommended dialogue.
  • Communicating policies and procedures effectively to customers.
  • Continually learning best practices
  • Engaging in training as required.
  • Completing administrative tasks as directed by management.
  • Identifying fleet needs for same day and upcoming days.

Position Requirements :

  • Customer Service focused.
  • Shift flexibility as needed to meet business demands.
  • Evening and weekend availability
  • Punctual and accountable for shifts
  • Willingness to learn.

Qualifications and Experience

  • General communication with team members.
  • General customer service.
  • Vehicle knowledge considered an asset.
  • Class 5 driver’s license. (required)

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Excellent listening and communication skills.
  • Flexibility and ability to adapt to changes.
  • Work alone and in a team environment.
  • Sales Skills considered an asset

Working Conditions

  • Flexible schedule that includes weekends and holidays.
  • Flexible schedule that includes evening/night shifts dictated by flight arrivals.
  • Ability to work inside an airport and follow airport security requirements.
  • Ongoing training and feedback.

Pay: $20.00-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
