Seeking a Head Trainer.Under the direction of the owner, the head trainer is a leader in the industry, shows initiative, always leads by example, and eagerly embraces 9Round's vision to create the best member experience possible. This is a great position for a candidate looking to be a proponent for growing a dynamic small business backed by the world's largest kickboxing franchise. 9Round delivers total body results in a quick and convenient 30 minute workout with no class times and a trainer with you every step of the way. We are seeking a super energetic and enthusiastic trainer. This is a part time/full time position (approx 30 hours) with sale compensation.JOB DESCRIPTION & QUALIFICATIONSAt 9Round the Head Trainer will maintain a fun, fast paced, 30 minute circuit cardio kickboxing gym. Sales presentation and phone scripts are vital. This is a very customer service driven position, so we are looking for someone that exudes confidence and whose primary focus is helping others achieve their fitness goals.Must have minimum 1-2 years of experience in the fitness industryMust have a flexible schedule with the ability to work mornings, evenings and weekendsMust have minimum 1-2 years of sales/customer service experiencePrevious kickboxing experience strongly preferred however not mandatoryBilingual preferred but not mandatory RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to the followingGreet, answer questions, sell and register prospective leadsProvide stellar customer service and keep members motivated throughout workoutMember retention and engagement via telephone calls and follow upsPersonalized and engaging lead generation/re-generation and follow up to convert prospects into membersMaintain excellent customer service with current members, follow up with them to keep them engaged with our 9Round Family, and cultivate member referralsCustomer service via all forms of communication: in person, phone, email, text, social media, etc.Resolve past due membershipsCreate monthly marketing plans with the ownerScheduling and reportsKeep social networks updated regularly posting on Instagram and FacebookEnsure the gym is kept clean and all equipment organized and in working order at all times.Ensure all Opening & Closing Procedures are completed as scheduled and outlined.Develop a scheduled cleaning program and ensure team members carry out tasks in a high quality, timely mannerDo inventory as needed QUALITIES FOR SUCCESS IN THIS POSITION Physically fit and committed to living a healthy lifestylePassionate, intelligent and knowledgeable regarding the fitness industryDetail oriented, hardworking, accountableCreative, personality, high energy personality that is contagiousSomeone who wants to have FUN, SMILE and LAUGH at workStrong leadership ability with the understanding that there is no "I" in teamAbility to work independently, as well as with a teamComfortable closing sales by building relationships and selling the value of 9RoundComfortable communicating with all demographics by all avenues (face to face, phone calls, text, email, social media, group settings, etc.)Professional, above all else BENEFITS 9Round Trainer CertificationUniform and Equipment Starter KitComplimentary gym membership for yourselfSales commissionStaff eventsNOTE: This job description is intended to describe the general requirements for the position.
