About Us : We are currently looking for multiple full-time/part-time content creator/editors to join our team. Our content creator/editors are responsible for creating social media content for our social media channels from start to finish that will drive growth and engage with the local Mandarin-speaking community.
Responsibilities :
- Creating social media content for our social media channels from start to finish.
- Collaborating with our Editorial team for social content on our social media channels
- Research engaging content, brainstorm ideas and make recommendations for content topics.
- Source or capture images, videos and write stories relevant to the Mandarin-speaking community.
Qualifications :
- Previous social media content creation experience (preferred)
- Excellent understanding of, and capacity to produce content in, written Mandarin
- Immersed in best practices for social media creation and engagement
- Creative and highly skilled in multimedia creation and editing
- Organized and able to juggle multiple projects, able to multitask, take initiative and collaborate with a team
- Demonstrated knowledge of the local Mandarin-speaking audience
- Ability to research and produce content of interest to the Mandarin-speaking community
- Lived in Vancouver for more than 2 years is preferred.
- Experience producing news stories, in-depth investigative features, and opinion pieces
Job Types : Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Salary : $18.00-$28.00 per hour
