The Bread and Butter of the Position : If you consider yourself a jack of all trades, are mechanically inclined and are at your happiest when you are able to fix things or ensure they are in proper working order, our Maintenance Assistant position may be your next career move! Our Maintenance Assistants ensure our commercial bakery runs safely and efficiently by handling all maintenance and repairs. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, our Maintenance Assistants are responsible for:

• Assisting in servicing and maintaining equipment, as directed by the Maintenance Manager
• Ensuring excellent maintenance records
• Providing preventative maintenance on industrial equipment and advising Maintenance Manager on any necessary preventative steps
• Completing work orders as assigned
• Maintaining excellent food safety practices around the production facility
• Identifying and addressing future equipment issues and needs
• Other duties as assigned

Shifts and availability :

• 8 hour shifts.
• Shift Availability: 6am-2:30pm OR 10pm-6am
• Shifts are scheduled 7-days a week, must be able to work on weekends.
• This is a full-time permanent position.

The Ingredients You Bring to the Table :

• Strong verbal communication skills
• The ability to work independently, as well as in a group
• The ability to work on your feet for extended periods
• The ability to work in a clean, organized manner
• The ability to lift up to 50lbs
• A commitment to upholding company policies, compliance and quality standards
• A willingness to learn and grow
• A trade is considered an asset (i.e. millwright or electrical ticket etc.)
• Previous experience in a warehouse environment is considered an asset

The Details You’ll Loave :

• Starting wage is between $21.00 to $23.00 + $4.00 Night Premium (Only For Night Shift) , depending on years of experience
