THE ROLE

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the ongoing development and implementation of new client developments.
  • Manage and directly participate in the sales process; deliver sales presentations to prospective clients, as well as assist in preparing proposals
  • Assist in preparing operating budgets for future condominiums during the pre-sale process for new developments
  • Review site plans, architectural drawings to ensure future sites can function operationally
  • Review condominium Disclosure Statements and provide comments
  • Other initiatives as identified by Executive team
  • Undertake project-based assignments that might not always be undertaken during the 9-5 work day
  • While much of this position may be undertaken in various meetings and on-line, it is intended that this would be an in-person position, located at our head office.

Your Qualifications :

  • Business development and/or operations experience in residential condominium management or a related industry is required

  • Demonstrates strong and effective customer service and relationship building skills:

  • Experience working with Condominium Developers, new construction, understanding the Tarion Warranty program and Builder Bulletin 49 / Performance Audit would be considered an asset

  • Experience in the condominium or residential management industry preferred

  • A hungry, enthusiastic, growth orientated manager with a passion for customer service

  • Well versed in the Condominium Act, day to day Condominium management, a comprehensive understanding of financial reporting and reading financial statements would be considered a very strong asset

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills: This role will be client facing.

  • Open to ideas, willing to ask for help, flexible, thinks outside the box, proactive and able to admit when a mistake is made, and learn from the experience

  • Superior attention to detail

  • University degree considered a strong asset

  • Attend both internal and external business development meetings and / or events, which may include but is not limited to; industry conferences and meetings and company hosted business development events

  • Proficient in excel

  • Possess or be willing to obtain, a Condominium Limited License from the CMRAO, including undertaking the necessary educational requirements

  • A passion for real estate and development

Salary : $60,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
