Experience what’s next at Avnet!Job Summary:As an NXP automotive products FAE you’ll utilize your technical & interpersonal skills to drive demand creation for the America's. During pre and post sales engagements with customers you'll move opportunities into design wins and on to production. You’ll partner with local Avnet branch FAE's and Account Managers, along with NXP sales management, to identify new customer projects in: automotive motor drive applications; battery management systems; vehicle gateways; safety management controllers; and industrial safety applications, to define and execute the account sales strategy, and maintain support throughout the customer’s product development cycle. Responsibilities:Deliver NXP automotive product roadmaps, features, solutions, and competitive positioning in a persuasive and engaging manner during customer pre-sales meetings.Responsible for understanding the technical requirements/specifications of the customer’s product and architecting an optimum NXP based automotive device solution.Provide NXP technical expertise on product enablement: documentation, NXP and 3rd party tools, demos, reference designs, solutions, etc.Work with your Avnet peers, and NXP technical resources, to debug and resolve customer technical support issues.Train customer engineers, and Avnet FAE’s, on the NXP automotive applications, product portfolio, and enablement tools.Deliver results to quarterly KPI’s – registrations, design wins, and design win revenue.Work Experience:Minimum experience required is typically 8+ years with bachelor's or equivalent.Education and Certification(s):Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience from which comparable knowledge and job skills can be obtained.Distinguishing Characteristics:4-7 years of experience with ARM cortex A/M/R series core MPU/MCU’s in embedded systems designExperience in Automotive system design and development processes – vehicle architectures, ISO26262, PPAP, preproduction stagesWorking knowledge of automotive communications standards such as CAN, LIN & Automotive EthernetWorking knowledge of peripherals such as Flash devices (NAND/eMMC), Serial, I2C, SPI, etc.Ability to solve MPU/MCU/embedded systems technical problems by leading the customer through the debug process.Experience developing with RTOS's, and debugging utilizing Eclipse IDE toolsEmbedded Linux development, with C/C++ experience, is a plusAutomotive power supply experience is a plusMotor drive experience is a plusHigh Voltage Battery Management experience is a plusExperience in PCB layout, signal integrity and EMI ramifications is a plusExcellent listening, written, and verbal communications skills for presenting to customers, and in keeping a large and diverse team current on issues, actions, and strategy.Ability to multi-task and work effectively under pressure in managing multiple customer issues.Travel of varying frequency will be required for this position.#LI-REMOTEWhat We Offer:Our employees work hard to live our values and help us grow.
