Every day, our 13,000 staff make a meaningful difference in our clients’ lives as we live the core values that define us: heart, respect, reliability, teamwork and innovation.About CBI Health’s Community Rehabilitation ServicesWorking in communities across Ontario, our Community Rehabilitation Services team treats clients who’ve experienced mental stress injuries and motor vehicle accidents, focusing on a return to pre-accident function.Occupational Therapists within our Complex Auto program assess and treat clients presenting with various physical (musculoskeletal, orthopaedic), cognitive (TBIs, concussions) and psychosocial abilities, including non-CAT and CAT files. Working in a community setting, you will complete in-home and hospital discharge assessments, ergonomic assessments, concussion treatment, cognitive rehabilitation, mental health treatment, and several other interventions. Our program is unlike any other, as our OTs do not experience the common hardships of being a private practice OT in this space (i.e. lack of support, pressure and influence from plaintiff counsel, and regularly denied OCF18s). CBI Health has developed a strong and collaborative relationship with both our Auto Insurance providers and Legal Representatives, which allows our OTs to focus on providing client-centered clinical work. This program gives OTs the opportunity to provide ‘start to finish care’ to their clients, from the acute stages of injury, all the way through return to pre-MVA function, making this work more meaningful and rewarding (rather than just assessing for benefits)!Visit us on Instagram to learn more about our team, work culture and impact on clients. What CBI Health offers you Competitive compensation with a comprehensive benefits and rewards package, including group health, dental and vision benefits, paid 100% by usEHB psychology/psychotherapy servicesEAP mental health services – Virtual and In-person professional counselling accessible 24 hours, crisis and trauma support, health and life coaching and much more!Paid vacation and sick daysA paid three-month welcome period, including structured training, mentorship and job shadowing geared to your career stageOn-going training, resources, free internal courses, as well as a yearly external education allowance of $1,000 for professional growth and developmentOn-going and regular mentorship and support provided by a seasoned Occupational Therapist (in-person and/or virtual) Click here to see a video testimonial from one of our OTs!
