Who You Are How you will do it Plans and develops education, training programs and orientation programs for new staff, including preparation, facilitation, and follow-up. Evaluates programs; performs research on relevant topics, develops and/or revises modules and presentation materials as appropriate. Presents education sessions to groups and/or individuals as appropriate. Identifies training and staff development requirements by conducting needs assessments and by consulting with internal and external personnel. Evaluates competencies of CCA’s/LPNS/RNs as required for orientation and on an ongoing basis. Monitors and evaluates the effectiveness of the training and development program and implements necessary modifications. Takes every precaution that is reasonable in the circumstances to ensure the health and safety of employees and all others in the workplace, including but not limited to, providing supervision, training, information, and equipment needed for employees to do their job safely. Contracts with outside consultants to provide specialized training and or to gain information an insight on best practices for the delivery of services. Networks with the greater health care community to ensure Shannex keeps abreast of new and growing opportunities within the division.
