About the Opportunity : Performs general repetitive tasks in maintaining an assigned area, with due consideration for patients, visitors and staff. Maintains clean and sanitary conditions in assigned areas as directed, according to established standards, observing proper cleaning and disinfecting techniques. Participates in On-the-Job Training programs. Seeks clarification of duties when indicated. Offers assistance and/or instruction to co-workers. Extends courtesy and consideration to others in interpersonal relationships. Demonstrates professional manner in work setting. Channels suggestions, concerns, and queries to appropriate authority. Performs duties in a timely and effective manner. Practices responsible cost effectiveness in the use of time, materials and equipment. Observes all hospital and departmental personnel policies with particular reference to patient confidentiality. Practices and promotes safety awareness, observes fire regulations and reports any suspected safety hazards. Participates in and contributes to the departmental quality management program. Supports and participates in departmental continuing education programs. Performs other related duties as required.

About You : We would love to hear from you if you have the following:

  • Grade 12/GED required
  • Good communication skills are essential
  • Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred

Hours :

  • Permanent, Part-Time (80%) position; 60 hours bi-weekly

Compensation and Incentives : $17.09 - $17.80 Hourly
