To learn more about who we are and how you can help bring our Lake Country Co-op brand to life, visit us at .Reporting to the Bakery Team Leader, responsibilities for this position include the following:• Demonstrate the behaviors and actions to support Lake Country Co-operative’s vision, mission, values, and safety principles to make a difference in members lives, with a strong customer focused approach• Properly prepare products prior to baking as per Co-op standards, package and label finished products, decorate and frost cakes and other baked goods maintain production records• Ensure to keep a clean and well-maintained department• Maintain and display all types of bakery products according to department standards• To take special orders from customers, receive and accept merchandise for the Bakery Department• Continually monitor code dates to ensure the freshest inventory on the shelf at all times; follow FIFO• To operate bakery ovens and to provide proper maintenance of equipment, monitor case temperatures and clean equipment regularly• Engage and interact with guests to create a positive shopping experience – in person and on the phone• Take cake orders as required• Perform other duties as assignedWhy it matters:Our Lake Country Co-op team provides a range of products and services to support our 54,680 member-owners in 20 different communities.
