Join us as we grow our way into a future that reimagines what it means to deliver meaningful benefits support and service.Job DescriptionWhat You’ll Do:Reporting to the Sales & Service Manager, Commercial Lines Program, you’ll be responsible for identifying prospects’ needs, advising and providing service to prospects, and selling insurance products..The core parts of your role will be to: Researches, qualifies and contacts prospects to develop sales. Responds to inquiries and collects and analyzes information to offer guidance and resolve member issues.Sells products by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects, answering incoming telephone calls, following-up on expiry date cards, re-quoting prospects from previous years and cancelled files, and contacting leads generated from marketing campaigns, online sources and personal lead bank.Identifies member needs to expand sales within existing accounts, which includes developing contact plans, introducing new products and services, quoting and marketing personal insurance business, and maintaining direct communications with personal lines insurance company underwriters. Meets or surpasses ex-date objectives to increase sales potential.Maintains and enhances relationships with members and existing accounts. This includes providing support, information and guidance, and researching and recommending new opportunities.Responds to telephone inquiries or directs as appropriate. This includes processing member information and quotes directly into the computer system, applying proper underwriting standards, assessing risks according to binding requirements, and answering general inquiries relating to accounts as required.Monitors members’ and potential members’ reaction to competitive products and reports findings to management. Evaluates current products and recommends product enhancements.Processes changes on client files as requested and documents files for follow up.Drafts and prepares correspondence and documentation as required.Maintains a current BMS base and promptly follows up on all client communications.Provides quality service while adhering to established standards and keeps information confidential to protect operations.Maintains accurate logs of quotes completed, sales completed, days worked and any other measurements pertaining to monthly reporting requirements.Keeps updated on company underwriting guidelines and changing markets.Performs other duties within competence, as assigned.QualificationsLet’s Talk About You: This is the unique blend of skills and experience we would love to see in an ideal candidate:A . licence.A minimum of three years’ experience in commercial lines.Exceptional communication skills and the demonstrated ability to deal effectively with all levels of internal and external stakeholders.Superior time management, project management and organizational skills to manage competing priorities.Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications.The ability to communicate in French is considered an asset.We also consider your potential.If you know you have what it takes to do the job, but your experience doesn’t exactly match the qualifications above, we encourage you to apply and provide us with more details about why you think you would be a great fit.Additional InformationSome of the Perks We Offer:We offer best-in-class pension and benefits, total reward programs and comprehensive mental wellness supports to set you up for every success in and outside of work.
