If you possess these qualities, this volunteer role is perfect for you! We are looking for individuals who are committed, respectful, and genuinely care about community well-being.Utilize your creative communication skills to contribute to the implementation of urban agriculture projects in the Southern districts of Lima, including Villa El Salvador, Villa Maria del Triunfo, and San Juan de Miraflores. These projects focus on establishing and improving agroecological community gardens and supporting agroecological school brigades.Join Cuso International and apply for this placement to assist our partner in Peru!As a volunteer, your responsibilities will include: Developing and implementing a communication strategy to showcase the effects of the AU gardens. Managing social media channels to promote the gardens and school brigades. Creating concise and straightforward testimonial videos and presentations featuring gardeners. Curating materials for photographic exhibitions highlighting the AU. Producing visual tools in collaboration with farmers to support garden production, such as yearly sowing plans and posters illustrating good agroecological practices. Promoting various initiatives carried out by stakeholders. Assisting farmers in their actions and advocacy efforts. Coordinating activities with the platform. Essential Requirements:Bachelor's degree in journalism, communication, political social marketing, or a related fieldEssential Background: Develop and implement communication, marketing, and branding strategies. Strong written communication skills, including expertise in report and publication writing and editing, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Show creativity, judgement, and the ability to work both independently and in teams. Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
