Café Operator

About Us: The Kingo 180 café is a new and exciting venture in the heart of North York located within a 7 floor office building. Our mission is to cultivate a warm and inviting space where community office workers can gather, enjoy coffee and delicious meals, and experience exceptional service. Our goal is to become a cherished neighborhood hub, renowned for its high-quality coffee, quality meals, and friendly atmosphere. We aim to support local businesses and contribute positively to the community. The Kingo 180 café is cozy and comfortable, with a touch of rustic charm.

Responsibilities :

• Operations Management: ○ Handling morning opening preparations to ensure the store is ready for business.

○ Operating and maintaining familiarity with the Point of Sale (POS) system for accurate transactions.

○ Managing inventory to ensure product availability and organization.

○ Completing end-of-day settlement procedures and maintaining cleanliness through final cleaning tasks.

• Customer Service: ○ Deliver exceptional customer service by interacting with customers in a friendly and professional manner.

○ Resolve customer complaints and issues promptly and efficiently.

○ Build and maintain strong relationships with customers.

• Food Safety and Quality: ○ Ensure strict adherence to food safety and sanitation regulations.

○ Maintain a clean and organized café environment.

○ Monitor food quality and freshness.

Qualifications:

• Food Handler's Certification required.
• Can work 40 hours per week
• 2-5 years of experience in café management or operations preferred.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Proven ability to meet sales and financial goals.
• Proficiency in POS systems
