Property Paralegal | Moncton

Our Moncton office has an immediate opening for a Property Paralegal. This position is permanent and full-time.

RESPONSIBILITIES

At Cox & Palmer, our support staff is an essential part of our team effort to deliver outstanding service to our clients. Working as part of a collaborative team, you will: Draft a wide range of legal documents and correspondence; Draft deeds/transfers, review and analyze purchase and sale agreements, property surveys and mortgages, loan and security documentation, disclosure statements and amendments; Prepare and finalize reporting letters; Prepare or fulfill requirements of real estate closing undertakings; and

Act as a liaison between lawyers, clients and other firms, as well as internal departments and external affiliates.

QUALIFICATIONS

Spoken and written proficiency in English is required; Experience in either residential or commercial property is an asset; Attention to detail is a must as well as accuracy and working independently in a fast paced environment; Legal Assistant or Paralegal diploma from a recognized post-secondary institution; and
