Account Manager - Remarket Team - Hybrid

Cowan Insurance Group is looking for a qualified Account Manager for our Remarket Team! This role is reporting to the Manager, Personal Insurance. The successful candidate will provide service excellence to our Personal Insurance customers and insurance markets by servicing and maintaining the existing portfolio as well as pursuing new business. You’re knowledgeable in the personal lines insurance industry with policies, products and customer service.What you will do:Receive referrals from the personal lines service and renewal teams to review, quote and remarket policies as appropriate based on premium, coverage, non-renewal etc.Quoting with our other carriers, reviewing best fit and premium, preparation of the application, pulling of reports, client contact to ask questions, provide advice and coordinate completion of documentation and then submission of the completed application to our keying teamDeveloping existing client accounts What you will bring:1 plus years of insurance experience;RIBO license required CAIB or CIP designation (or working towards) would be an asset.Strong customer service and caring attitude;Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, excelling in areas of negotiation;Demonstrates sound judgement, ethics and integrity;Strong organizational skills;Ability to prioritize & adapt to work in a fast-paced environment;Who we are:Canadian-owned and operated, Cowan Insurance Group is a leading independent insurance brokerage and consulting operation, providing real value to our clients.
