Currently, we are in search of a Construction Estimator with a specialty in mid-rise projects to join this dynamic team. Role Summary: The Construction Estimator plays a pivotal role in the success of our projects by accurately determining costs, analyzing project specifications, and ensuring competitive and feasible bids. This position calls for an individual with a profound understanding of the construction industry, excellent analytical skills, and the capability to perform under tight deadlines. Key Responsibilities: Develop comprehensive cost estimates for construction projects, encompassing materials, labor, and equipment. Collaborate with project stakeholders to gather all pertinent information for bid preparation. Assess subcontractor and supplier bids, ensuring alignment with project specifications and budget constraints. Keep abreast of market trends and cost fluctuations to uphold estimate accuracy and competitiveness. Prepare detailed bid packages and proposals for review by internal and external parties. Facilitate a seamless transition of project cost estimates to the project management team for execution. Innovate and enhance estimating processes through the adoption of new technologies and methodologies. Qualifications: Demonstrable experience in construction estimating, with a focus on commercial, residential, and mixed-use projects, particularly mid-rise buildings. Proficiency in construction estimating software and tools. Exceptional analytical, organizational, and multitasking skills. Strong communication and negotiation abilities, with a knack for engaging effectively with diverse stakeholders. A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related discipline is highly regarded.
