THE ROLE

ASHARIO is looking to employ a knowledgeable and experienced Inventory specialist to join our team long-term. The responsibilities of the Inventory specialist will include ensuring and maintaining inventory accuracy, both in the system and in the stores. It's important to be able to lead our team to ensure that the on-hand inventory of our stores is accurate, transactional integrity to process is maintained, all adjustments are completed in a timely basis, and conformance to internal and legislative requirements as they pertain to inventory control. We need super friendly, outgoing, individuals who are interested in a long-term commitment with our company.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Track and communicate inventory and analyze trends in inventory deviations.
  • Weekly reports for inventory adjustments, inventory operations, and stock levels.
  • Ensure the organization holds the optimal level of inventory to meet strategic goals.
  • Prepare and present regular reports as required by Management
  • Act as a brand ambassador reflective of the company values and mission.
  • Maintain and routinely update knowledge of new product inventory and the cannabis industry as a whole.
  • Maintain the integrity of inventory in our stores.

REQUIREMENTS

  • MUST be able to pass a background check and obtain all licenses pertaining to AGCO standards.
  • MUST have CanSell certification.
  • MUST be 19 years of age or older.
  • Knowledge of inventory control policies and procedures.
  • Superb communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Problem solver with a strong analytical mindset.
  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills.
  • Professionalism and the ability to communicate effectively with our team, upper management, and Licensed Producers.
  • Desire to learn about cannabis.
  • Trustworthy and reliable.
  • Professional, tidy appearance, and good personal hygiene.
  • Ability to consistently work weekdays; the flexibility to sometimes work nights, holidays, and weekends.

EDUCATION :

  • High School Diploma

EXPERIENCE

  • You must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in inventory management, cycle counts (preferred)
  • You are entrepreneurial and able to work with mínimal supervision
  • Retail management: 1 year (preferred)
  • Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
