Railcar and Quality Coordinator

Blastech Rail, a TF Warren group company is looking to add a Rail Coordinator to their team! The Rail Coordinator is responsible for managing the incoming and outgoing rail cars at the facility, including coordinating the repair schedules, communicating with customers and completing billing administration.

Responsibilities :

  • Coordinate incoming railcars with customers including obtaining all required documentation prior to arrival
  • Railcar coordination, including preparing and updating schedule of railcar
  • Convey and coordinate priorities with shop supervision based on monthly requirements
  • Calculate updated rubber pricing using inspection and templates
  • Obtain inhouse confirmation on information (hours, material) for billing
  • Review SMIRF and applicable work orders and update final BRC accordingly
  • Review Final BRC for invoicing
  • Submit final BRC along with repair photo package to customer for approval (Follow up at 48 hours)
  • Externally Invoice along with all required documentation
  • Organize with customer to obtain outbound disposition for completed railcars
  • Provide monthly requirement for rubber, valves and etc. as required to purchasing department
  • Create, modify or maintain templates in Railcar RX for accurate info and pricing
  • Create and distribute educational items related to railcars
  • Training/Feedback on SMIRF & AAR Field Manual Queries
  • Assist purchasing in sourcing items when requested
  • Sales & customer service support.

Qualifications :

  • 3-5 years’ experience in a similar or quality role is required
  • Advanced computer skills and experience using MS Office Suite, especially Excel
  • Knowledge of AAR, FRA and Transport Canada Regulations is an asset
  • Attention to detail and accuracy

Job Types : Full-time, Permanent

Salary : $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
