Winter Camp Details : Our Winter Break Camps run weekly from December 28th - 30th from 8:30 am-4:30 pm. We are hiring coaches/instructors for the following activities: You will have the chance to work with the following activities:

  • Adventure Camp(3.5-6 years old)
  • Soccer
  • Basketball
  • Dance/Gymnastics
  • Coding/3-D Design/Game Theory Instructor
  • Aquatics Lessons (Certifications Needed)

Specific Responsibilities :

  • Lead, supervise, and promote the safety of all participants
  • Prepare lessons, and lesson plans according to the required curriculum
  • Teaching students using a variety of different techniques including discussions, visual demonstrations, guided discovery, and where possible physical manipulation.
  • Nurture and develop all athletes potential skills and abilities
  • Evaluate students progress and discuss results with students, parents, and the onsite coordinator
  • Tracking student progress by filling out weekly report cards
  • Participate in staff meetings and required training
  • Motivate athletes for success
  • Enforce safety rules and regulations
  • Additional duties as prescribed

Qualifications :

  • Experience working with children aged 6-12
  • NCCP Coaching certification (or equivalent) preferred
  • Background knowledge and experience in Basketball or other sports
  • Current Vulnerable Sector Check
  • Standard First aid and CPR C
  • Strong communication skills
  • Bilingual - English/French an asset

Compensation : Salary : $150.00-$300.00 per week

Schedule:

  • 10 hour shift
  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

  • Bonus pay
