We are an established investment publishing and wealth management firm with 25+ years’ experience in subscription marketing and independent portfolio management with assets under management verging on $1 billion and growing. We help people across Canada invest more successfully. We are expanding our team and need an energetic and data driven digital marketer.

The Digital Marketing Manager will report to the Director of Marketing, Sales & Circulation. This role is responsible for growing our publishing business by capitalizing on the strength of our world class advisories to improve acquisition, engagement and retention outcomes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITES :

  • Conceive, develop, and execute direct response campaigns to acquire, engage and retain Newsletter subscribers while reaching planned profitability targets (ROI, LTV, Contribution Margin, etc.).
  • Develop and execute well designed A/B tests for acquisition campaigns, upsell efforts, landing pages and funnel flows, and work with team members to implement these tests to improve subscription conversion.
  • Use internal CRM resources to leverage existing subscriber database to maximize retention and LTV.
  • Build a rigorous testing framework to plan, develop and execute multi-channel direct response marketing programs.
  • Oversee weekly testing to ensure our experimentation practise is widespread, fast and agile.
  • Analyze and report test results to ensure learning is applied thoroughly and quickly.
  • Monitor best practices and competitor marketing practices.
  • Review new technologies and keep the company at the forefront of developments in digital marketing.

REQUIREMENTS (Qualifications, Experience & Skills) :

  • University Degree in Business, Marketing or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years marketing experience in digital B2C marketing, with a proven track record of success in acquiring, engaging and retaining customers profitably.
  • Experience with a CMS (WordPress preferred), Google analytics, Unbounce, Dreamweaver.
  • HTML - Moderate to high level of skill/experience.
  • Proficiency in business writing, editing and production.
  • Ability to think strategically, with strong analytical skills.
  • Expertise to develop and identify strong marketing copy.
  • Project management skills including effective communication, leadership, teamwork, time management and problem solving.
  • Detail oriented, thorough and well organized.
  • Must own decisions, tasks and responsibilities.

Located near Yonge St. and Sheppard Ave. in North York, Toronto.
